The Roman Baths
The Roman Baths is one of the famous historical sites in Europe. Located at the heart of the City of Bath World Heritage Site, the Roman Baths features notably preserved remains of the ancient world’s most fabulous religious spas. As the baths flow with natural hot water, the site is the source of the city’s unique thermal springs. You can explore the Temple of Sulis Minerva’s ruins, stroll through the original Roman pavements, and see the Roman Baths. See here for information about Best Playgrounds and Parks in Ashley Down.
Muzzy Field has a 4,900-capacity grandstand dating from 1939 as a sports venue infused with memories. In 1919 and 1920, Muzzy Field hosted Babe Ruth in two exhibition games, and one ball was never found after hitting a home run so far. In the 2010s, the ballpark was refurbished and had been hosting the Bristol Blues, who play three local high school teams and in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
